9 Things

1. A cool breeze ushering in change.  September feels like a fresh start,  like new years day.
2. Leaning into the gratitude and joy in the simple things and the big things.
3. Family that shows up through all seasons and change. Friends that have become like family.
4. Coffee isn't a necessity, but it's a lovely daily ritual. Especially flavored with pumpkin and cinnamon.
5. The sounds of fall: rain drops falling from leaves, worship music at dusk, new babbles and gurgles.
6. When they tell you growing pains end by 15. They forget to mention it's a temporary reprieve until you become a parent. Then a whole new round of growing into yourself begins.
7. Learning to love the sunrise as much as the sunset.
8. Beginning new art and new ventures in this new season.
9. The trees are getting ready to show us the beauty that can come in the middle of the growing pains.
